Our 13th Annual AA Convention with Al Anon participation was held September 8-10,2006, at the Santa Maria Veteran's Memorial Hall, located at 501 North Pine St. in Santa Maria, Ca.  

Our theme is "Pass it On".  For any newcomers joining us, once you have even the smallest glimmer of willingness and hope for sobriety, and the experience of even just one meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous, you too can begin to "Pass it On"!   We hope to see you there!

The events included Speaker Meetings, Marathon Meetings and Al Anon Meetings.  Fundraisers include a Saturday BBQ Dinner and a Sunday Pancake Breakfast, Friday and Saturday Night Dances, a Saturday Bike Ride and a Golf Tournament on Friday Morning. Fundraisers included an Al Anon Raffle of gifts that are donated, a 50/50 Drawing,  and this year we had a Reverse Drawing.  

Our Convention Committee meetings are open to all who wish to be of service in putting on the Convention.  We even have a Convention Committee Meeting during the Convention on Saturday that's open for anyone that wants to be present.  Here is the Convention Committee meeting schedule.
